New installations on existing vessels:

Ektec's impressive staff of experienced employees are always prepared to carry out new electrical installations on board ships whilst they are on route  anywhere in the world.

The fact that EKtec is, in general, not bound by manufacturers' agreements for any particular product, means that we can provide installations in accordance with customer preferences and requirements. This is a strong advantage for our company and our customers, as it greatly enhances our flexibility.

Projects carried out by EKtec are just as diverse as the variety of electrical installations on board the many different types of vessels. Through our experience within the maritime sector, we have built up expertise and know-how, which ensures that we are fully capable of providing any type of relevant installation for our customers.

EKtec carries out work on vessels on a world-wide basis in accordance with our customers' wishes and requirements: at sea, at the quayside, in the shipyard or any combination of these locations.  Our expert staff are, therefore, always in close contact with the customer in order to ensure the best possible planning and completion of the required work. We know how important it is for the customer that the work is carried out with the minimum possible disturbance to both crews and passengers.

Repair work and fault-finding:

EKtec carries out repair work onboard ships on a world-wide basis, in accordance with our customers' requirements: whilst actually sailing, at the quayside, in shipyards or any relevant combination of these situations.

EKtec is well aware of the importance to ship owners that their vessels are constantly in operation and can maintain their sailing schedules. You will always have direct contact to EKtec, on a 24-hour daily basis. EKtec has experienced staff on duty at all times.

We provide skilled professionalism on all types of vessels: Cruise ships, passenger liners, container vessels, ferries, reefer vessels, fishery vessels, etc.

The name of EKtec is the customer's guarantee for a service partner that always does its utmost to comply with the customer's every wish and requirement.

Supervision:

As a result of the company's many years of experience within the maritime sector, EKtec functions in a supervisory capacity on many projects. Our supervisors are available for major or minor projects.

Our supervisors are the customer's guarantee that projects, which are carried out by local labour, fully comply

with the requirements of the ship owners, the authorities and the classification societies.

EKtec supervisors are also qualified to carry out repair work on main switchboards, etc. that have been damaged due to, for example, fire. Please note that EKtec manufactures its own range of switchboards.
